This little lady gets around the country and, now the world! The last month we did lots of travel. OBX at the end of September with Eddie's fam, then Vieques in mid-October with my fam for Mom's 60th. Matilda is so adaptable, she loved everywhere we went. Unfortunately, when we got back from Vieques, she came down with strep throat. They mis-diagnosed her at first, so we went 3 solid days with a fever that would not break and poor Mattie just laying in bed, on the couch or on one of us at all times. It was so unlike her and so sad. We are certainly glad they figured out what it was and she is back to her happy self...and just in time for Halloween to. That was the first day she felt better and didn't have a fever, whew!
